I did it!!!

On Mothers day I wanted to make come cookies to take to Sunday dinner. Oh it will be easy right. So I get online and get a recipe for chocolate chip cookies. And this is what I got. I was so ticked. I called my mom to see what I did wrong. And off course she didn't know. She said add more flour, did you miss any thing which is a good possibility. But no not this time. I only had to eggs left so I hurried and made some brownies. It has been bugging me that I can't make a good looking cookie. I told lane I will make cookies all week tell I get it right. He said do you want me to show you how to do it? It would be like him to be able to make them just because I couldn't. Men.



So I went to Jamie's house and got Brenda's recipe. (Brenda is lanes aunt) she makes the best cookies. Lots of chocolate!! Any way this is my version of her cookies! not bad I must say. Ryder tasted one and said these are different ones mom. These are not good. Oh what does he know right. They taste even better then they look. Yeah me!!

Four months

Oh how they grow. He is so fun very active. He gets very goosy when you change his bum and undress him. He splashes alot in the tub. And still gets lots of kisses from Ryder.

This was the year for lane's turn for a turkey. They go down to escalate for the hunt. Yes it is far away. The past years they ( meaning everyone but lane) have gotten them like the first few hours of the hunt but not this year. It took a good week. Lane went with his dad, brother lance and grandpa Kenny. All had tags but Gary.
Ryder kept saying when my dad gets his turkey he will send me a picture k mom. Well one morning we woke up and had a picture. Ryder was so excited. When lane got home he brought the feet and head to show him. SICK!. But Ryder thought it was pretty cool. Lane liked it to. Thank goodness it was a small one, So he won't stuff it.
All and all he had a good time. I think he just likes to be in the out doors. I joke and say if it where up to him he would live up in the mountains with his four wheeler and now one around to bug him. It is true oh how it is true!!
