Lehi Round Up 2011

LET THE FUN BEGIN!!!





Friday night they had a parade. Then we headed to the Rodeo. It is always fun. Ryder loves the bucking bulls. They were definitely bucking but no one could ride them so it was a downer.


Saturday Morning my dad, Jamie and lance and I ran the 10k. I guess I wasn't prepare as I thought I was. But I made it. I really only had a month to train. Yes the excuses are coming!! But it was fun and challenging. It has been a few years since my last 10k. The first one I did was a lot easier for me. Oh well there is next year. After the 10k we went home showered and headed to the parade. Lane had to work so he missed all the sweating and activities at the park.












Jax Saw the anilmas and that is all he cared about. What ever part of the park we were he headed for the horses. He didn't touch them. And was scared when they made noise but he just kept saying "what that" Dad was good to stay with him and let him wander.

Day camp

Lane and I are Webelos leaders. Tuesday and Wednesday we had day camp. Luckily we only had to do Wednesday. We had 13 boys. We combined with first ward. We were the British team. Raw Raw red coats!!!! That was our cheer. We went around the world and did different event. Soccer,bow and arrow, sailing boats, maps, art. It was quit the day. I think the boys enjoyed it we had all the boys there even the non active ones!

Uncle todd homecoming

The kids made signs for Uncle todd. It seemed like forever till he came. Waiting is the hardest part.









Uncle todd came home from the Philippines. We are so proud of him and his choice to serve the Lord. He is the last of lanes family to go. Scary to think but the next one will be Ryder Crazy!!!!

The BIG 30

Mom and Dad came out to celebrate with me. Dad and I started the day off with a four mile run. Then we went shopping and had lunch at Red Lobster. I love love Crab legs. Mom mentioned it and I had to have it after that. It was soo good. Really should eat then more often. Thanks to all for the birthday wishes. I guess 30 isn't to bad after all!!

sunday Mornings

Usually I dread Sundays. Lane works, So it is me and the kids at church. Which we have at one. So I hate the fight with Jax. He will not sleep unless he his is in his bed. SO my goal every Sunday is to at least make it through sacrament before we have to go sit out in in the foyer. But I have found that if we sit in a bench it does help. And lot of treats. It is funny when he is really tires he eats alot. After church I always say I am not going next week. But I do. Ryder loves primary so much. He loves all the songs. I always try to lay jax down for a nap before church so he will be some what happy. But that never seems to work out for me lately. But today. It is almost ten and he is still asleep. So may be just may be we may make it today.

The girls were over to play. They were all playing in the play pen. To bad it wasn't bigger and with a lid on it. What did I say that!

Crazy kid

Ryder made a castle out of his cars table. He put blankets on it and his pillow and blanket in it. He wanted to sleep in it one night. Which is weird for him he only wants to sleep in his bed. So we let him. In the morning we got up and asked how it was he said he got sweaty so he moves to the couch. But he slept there a few more night. Now he has moved on to his actual tent. He packed his back pack in case he needed any thing. Fun times at our house.

ryders pre school program

Ryder had to start the Pledge of elegance. We practiced all week then I missed it on the video because we all had to stand. But he said it loud and clear.








Sun shine pre school at the Pleasant Grove rec center.
Ryder's Program started with the kids coming out with music kicking there legs and doing spirit fingers it was so funny. Ryder sang all the songs. They sang about shapes and the days of the week. They said there colors also. He was a cheesier he loves stuff like this. We were excited that Grandma Mel and Joani & Jacob could come. Also Grandma Jean, Great Grandpa & Grandma Carlton came to. Come to find out Great Grandma's sisters daughter was one of the teaches at the school. Ryder made lots of new friends. And he loved his teachers Mrs. Havala and Miss heidi.
