Girls weekend

So the guys always get to go hunting for multiple times a year for weeks. So we decided that we deserve a weekend away with no kids. Lanes mom and Jaime( his sister) and I got tickets to the little mermaid and greece at tuachaune. It was the most relaxing time I have had in a long time. Which was well needed for me. I have been struggling with my hives again. Goin insane with the itch. But prayers have been answered and we think we have it under control. No hive the whole time. Back to the weekend.
Going down there, I fell in love with the red rocks all over again. We took our time getting ready and laid by the pool. Of course we did shopping. I have been saving for months. We did what ever we wanted, when ever, we didn't have to cater to anyone. I especially enjoyed the quit ride down and back. It was a bitter sweet return home. I love the fam but I wish it could have been just a few days longer. Now I feel refreshed as a mom and a wife. Life it good.

Pre-School 2011

Ryder started his second year of pre-school. He goes to the funshine pre school in Pleasant Grove. He now goes three days a week. He loves doing his homework so he can get a sucker. Sometimes he will share them with Jax. It is crazy how different it is this year. He writes his first and last name. In his class there is another Ryder so he is Ryder C. He doesn't fight me on his homework like he use to and he has memorized two poems already.

Today we went for his 5 year check up. He is 42lb. He kinda has a belly finally and not so much bones.

Scholes reunion 2011

So every year on Labor Day we started to have a reunion for our family. It is hard to get everyone together all the time but this seems to work. We go up uintah canyon and camp for the weekend. Lane took Sunday off so we could stay longer. Amber and the kids came up during the day. Todd was at scout camp. Staci Brought the kids up to, steve was fighting a fire. The kids played in the dirt. While the adult talked. Then saturday night we watch part of a movie on the side of our trailer. The kids were tired and mom and joani' family went down to go to church. It was a great time to be together.





Ryder was reunited with his bunny from the 4th of July kids chase. He was very excited and all the kids mauled the poor thing.

Ashlyn was nice and let jax have a ride on carsons bike. He could have done it all day.


Every one had to have a family picture taken. The logs were after thought but I didn't want to redo our picture so it doesn't match the rest oh well.

Ryder did the fall soccor. Grandma Jean bought him his shin guards. He was excited to play but worried that no one would pass him the ball. He did really good the first 20 min in his first game. Scored three goals. But after half time he lost interest. But almost every game he would score a goal. He isn't very aggressive but he was fast. Grandma and Grandpa Terry came to watch also Grandma &grandpa gary. Also Great grandpa came and gave right some money for scoring!!!

This year for UBIC My dad put the train in the parade. So we had to go so the kids could ride on the train. I can't find the picture of it so I will have to post them later. After the parade we headed to the park for the arts and crafts. Ryder made a necklace out of noodles and painted a rock. Jaxon ran around wanting a balloon. When he got it he couldn't stand it to be tied to him to of course he lost it. Then we headed for a much needed snow cone to cool down with. We did go back for the concert.Ryder and Brendon went on the blow up toys that had to many kids on them that they were falling over. But they still had fun. Me and Jax didn't make to the fireworks but Ryder stayed with Grandpa and Grandma.

Swim lessons

This year for swim lessons I tried a mom and me class with Jaxon. I figured there was no way I could keep him out of the water. Well he liked it the first day but we had a lame teacher. No kid wants to float on their back for a half hour. We didn't play games or anything. So I just did my own thing we only made it the first 15 20 min and we were done screaming and throwing a fit. One time he even took my swim suit top down with him. He didn't want me with him at all he wanted to go do his own thing. As for Ryder he did awesome. He loves his goggles now. He's favorite thing now it to be a shark under water and grab your legs. He can go under the water without his nose plugged. I love to watch him in the water he is quit the swimmer now. He also loves to jump in the water. I love being the mom at the pool just soaking up the sun while the kids play.
