At the Zoo

We went to the Zoo on Friday. Grandma Jean, Jamie and the girls, Kelly, and Kensie all went together. You would think after our St.George trip Kelly and Kensie wouldn't want to go anywhere with us again.
The weather was perfect. We got to see all the new baby animals. What a day it was.

Ryder when he saw the elephants.

The new baby elephant Zuri. She was so cute you just wanted to play with her.

Rhino man.

It was rough getting pictures taken at the zoo. The kids did not want to do it. Stupid kids kept getting in the way which even made it worse. Moments you just have to laugh.

We took a break from the animals so the kids could just play a little. Ryder was practicing his balancing act on the wall.

Waiting on the dot for the train is a hard thing to do when you are three and so excited.

Ryder and me on the train.

Ryder was so excited to be on the train. What a cute kid.

We saw all the animals. Had a couple melt downs. Some may have even fallen out of the strollers, but I think the kids had a good time. We were all starving by the time we left. We ate lunch and headed home for a nap. What more could you ask for.

This is Ryder's dancing in his underwear. Yes I do dress him. He just likes to sleep in his underwear so after he wakes up that is usually what he stays in unless we go somewhere. Skinny kid!!! I love his little bum in the underwear so cute!!

Pumpkin fun

Well it is that time a year again. We thought we needed to get into the spirit of Halloween and do our pumpkins. Last year we tried painting them instead of carving. Who knew it was the same kind of mess without knives. So this year we did the Mr. potato head version. Which worked out quit well. Quick and easy. Ryder had a lot of fun putting them together. After the two pirates had to have a fight of course!

Our pumpkins on the porch. Ryder did not want to leave his outside so now it is a new toy for him.

twenty nine weeks

So with Jacob coming out and staying with us we thought it would be nice to set the crib up for him. It was kinda weird to have it up again. Then to see Jacob in it was a little shocker to what is coming. We tried to tell Ryder this was his bed and he said he wanted to sleep in his big bed. He didn't get it.

So now it is twenty nine weeks. It has gone by so fast. I have felt pretty good but now I am having the aches and pains of the few last months not fun. You can't sleep at night, hard to breath, lower back pain. All the fun. This kid is low, lower than Ryder was so it is even harder for me. He is right where my pants sit. So It is hard to bend over. At night I just have to lay on the couch to stretch out.
I went to the doctor on Monday. Had a forty minute wait for a 5 minute appointment. Annoying. But the baby is good. growing like a weed ( I should know, so am I). But the holidays are coming so time will fly even faster. Can't wait!!!!
