Jaxon Is One!!!

My sweet Baby boy is One!!! Crazy how the year has gone by. Jax has grown so much in the past month. He now will say momma!!! I am so happy. Ryder was saying sentences and still wouldn't say mom. It has been such a crazy time with the hollidays and the family being sick that we haven't celebrated yet. I know I am a horrible mom. Lane reminds me that is why he wanted me to wait to have him after Christmas because it would end up like this but oh well. So pictures to come when we are all better!!!

December

Every Year we like to go the the festival of lights in Spanish Fork. It is so fun. At the end they have Santa's house, so Ryder rolls down his window and yells what he wants for christmas that is as close as we get to Santa!!

Grandma Mel, Joani and her boys came out Wensday to bring us our Christmas. The weather has been so crazy and we have been sick that there never has been a good time to go out home.

So every year they have Black Friday right. Well I usually don't get to go way early. Lane and the boys usually go four wheeling the day after thanksgiving so I have the kids. But this Year I got to go and let me tell you it was worth it!!!

Walmart opened at Midnight so we started there. Crazy Crazy. A rush that just woke you right up. Then after walmart everyone went home to sleep. It was like 2 when we left. I wanted to go to target that opened at four so I went to old navy the line to check out was rapped around the whole store. Luckily I didn't find any thing so I went home. I was such on a high no way could I go to sleep. So I watched TV until three and headed to target. I sat in the parking lot like a kid waiting for Christmas. I was freezing cold and I didn't care I was so excited. Then the doors open and you just start running. Looking, what do I need. It was all worth it in the end, got everything I was hunting for. I think I finally got home about nine after we ate at kneaders, the best french toast ever!!! It was totally awesome it took me a while to unwind to go to bed. Lane says I haven't stopped shopping yet. But I am almost done though.

thanksgiving 2010

Happy Thanksgiving. This year we were at the Lane's family. The food was soooo good and tones of it. This year Grandma and Grandpa Carlton came.
I am so thankful for Family. They give us so much love and support. I am grateful for lane and the hard worker his and all he sacrifices to support our family. And that he has a job!!! I am grateful for my two crazy cute boys that keep me going and always there to give me kisses. They are getting so big. I love to watch them play together now. i love the holiday season.

My dad ,Jamie and I ran the American Fork Turkey Trot. It was Thanksgiving morning. It was Freezing cold. I think that it was like 12 degrees out. And of course they had to start the race 15 minutes late. So we stood at the starting line freezing just wanting to run to get warm. It took about a mile till I finally got to feel my toes again. My nose was so frozen I felt like I couldn't breath out of it. I know what we do for fun.

Happy Thanksgiving Toddy. We will be sure to eat some turkey for you. To be fair you better eat some rice and beans for us!!! We love you and are grateful for you choice to serve the lord. can't wait to talk to you next month. Ryder said his prayers last night and prayed for you so you should have a good week.

Jax wanted to say hi to. He is getting so big. Almost one now. He is a mad man in his walker. Hitting your shin and running over your toes. Makes you want to cry sometimes.

Mommie I am stuck!!!

Today Ryder had a birthday party for a girl from his school at McDonald's. He was so excited. They had all the kids eat then just play on the toys. So smart no clean up and you don't really have to entertain the kids. W American fork just got a new McDonald's so it hopefully is a little cleaner than others. We never go in I just do the drive through for this very reason.

I was the mom crawling up through the maze of stinky, dirty kids trying to reach my son that is crying cause he is stuck AT THE VERY TOP!!!! I had to push a couple of kids away because in the "toy" thing nobody listen to excuse me or please move. Yes I even had to squeeze through some parts. This and germs is the reason I hate play areas like this. I knew one day this would have to happen.

They went trick or treating to all the classes and came home with tones of candy so I really didn't feel bad when we got rained out on Saturday. They sang some Halloween songs to like;

Halloween 2010

Saturday we woke up and headed out to Roosevelt to spend Halloween with my Family. The weekend before they had our annual party. I was sick so we stayed home. I was sad we missed it so we headed out to go trick or treating with the cousins.

We to the corn maze in Bluebell with the cousins. It was a good one. It had to phases and the second on was hard. He kept doing circles. Luckily some girls came and we followed them out. Then we went a pet the animals and played in the corn. Thanks Grandam mel for a fun time.

Ryder is into the "collection" thing. He has all of his stuff lined up on his shelf by his bed. I think today it is finally full. He get mad when Jaxon get up a messes the line up. Crazy kid!!

Jax

Jax Sportin his Jordans. He is almost 11months now. He is such a happy baby a freakin cute. He still is a eater. Can't get enough. He is crawling full force now and loves to stand and walk with help. He can pull himself up and walk along things. He even get brave sometimes and lets go but it always ends up in a face plant. He loves to clap and say hi. I think the other day he even said da da which made me sad. I had high hopes this one would say ma first but it is ok. The other night when I was doing dishes I learn over to put something in the dish washer and look who else was in there little Jax. He is a climber!!!

Primary Program

Today Ryder had his very first Primary Program. He was so reverent as he sat on the stand waving and smiling with his class. This year they had all the kids tell there testimonies about Jesus.

We have been working on it all week. He had it memorized.
"I love Jesus because he wants me to do what is right like cleaning up the living room"

When I first read this I thought ok the teacher just assigned it to him then in sacrament they said they had all the kids write down their testimony in a book a Mormon to share with others and gave it to the missionaries. Then it hit me this is totally Ryder. He's new thing is to clean the living room!!!
Grandma and Grandpa Gary came to hear Ryder give his part. I was nervous because when he had to give a talk in primary I ended up doing it. But he was brave and said his part!!!
It was my turn to get a wave and a smile from my big boy on the stand!

9 months

It is always an adventure to get pictures of the kids. I wanted to get Ryders done at the same time but of course he has an eye infection so he has goober eyes. Jaxon was way over due for his it has been since he was two months old. Wow what a slacker I am. Any way I was happy with what I got. Even though the dumb girls couldn't make him smile. Then when it came to picking them out it is always a night mare. I know what I need but they show so many packages and cute cards and cds that I don't want. Yes they are cute but not for me. I need this many, now do it and lets get out of here, my kids have had it. I think the people where happy to see me go because I was a beast with them. Sorry I don't want to pay 200 dollars when I will be back in a few months for his one year picts.

This is weird it took Ryder a whole year to barely get to 20 lbs. This kid loves to eat!!
He has 6 teeth 3 on top and 3 on bottom
He is crawling and is trying to pull himself up on things. Once he gets this down he will be off and running. He is a happy baby when he has all the attention. Like I said he loves to eat. If you are eating something he thinks he has to have it. He as already had hamburger, pork chop and chicken. He loves rice. It took Ryder three years till he ate like this.

Pre-school

Cave kids has started. His teacher is Miss Meagan.


We made a poster about Ryder for his class. His favorite food color animal and what he wants to be when he grows up.

When I picked him up I asked about his day and he said we didn't learn about shapes mom. And we had snack..... Granola bar and milk. And a girl had to go to timeout but not me I was good. I played with dinosaurs and play dough. I asked him if he made some friends he said yeah but I don't know who. And I sat my Miss Meagan.
When we got home he ran to jax and said hey buddy I went to school did you miss me? He wore his "packpack" all day. He had to show everyone his backpack. Crazy kid.

Scholes reunion 2010

Our annual labor day reunion. We headed up Uintah canyon Friday night. We had everyone there at different times but we all made it. We had crafts and good food and ended with a pinata.








Jax just a swinging. It only lasted for a minute and he was done. What is it with my kids not liking to swing?



Saturday morning all the guys and boys headed to the pond to do some fishing. Ryder was the only one who came back with some fish! yeah Ryder.
