Jaxon G. Carlton

This is right after we checked in. The final prego picture. I got the call at 10 on Tuesday that they finally had a room for me. I had to wait for lane to come home, I took Ryder to Jamie's house. So it was about 12 when we got there. Things started moving from there.

It is a miracle to see this perfect little thing.

They called the doctor at 7pm during the BYU game I told lane I would deliver during the game. Funny, because same thing with Ryder both lane and the doctor where watching and keeping up on the score in between pushes. I started to push about 7:15 and 7:23 pm he was born. My mom said I pushed 12 times, not bad. So he was 7.4 and 19 inches long. He has hair not alot on top. After he was born everyone said he looks like Ryder. I can see it in some of his faces he pulls. He has a cute whimper and his bottom lip quivers. Crazy to thing you can love another one just the same.

When I have to pick a name it is always hard for me. Then I see the name card and i say oh that is cute.

Ryder could not wait till Jaxon was home. Ryder has been such a good helper already. He loves to kiss and sing to Jaxon. It is been so fun to watch them together. Ryder says "mom my brother cries everyday" And yes he does and will.

TEA PARTY!!!

Yes we have tea parties at our house. Grandma Jean got Ryder into it. Then one time When I went home I found my tea set from when I was young. It is glass and still together. So now that is what we play with. We drink lots and lots of water and have to have some cookies. Ryder loves to pour and sometimes is stingy with the tea. You have to drink all of it before you get more in the cup. Mom you want tea? Yes i do then drink it!! I guess it is a good way to get him to drink his water.

For family night we put a ginger bread train together. I bought it in a kit thought it would be fun and easy. MMmmm not so much easy. The frosting was sticky nasty. And we are not that creative. But it still turned out cute!
Working hard to keep the pieces together. Ryder loved to put the peppermints on as wheels so we have plenty.

The final project. It was a lot of mess but well worth it when finished

fun in the snow

Snow angel fun. I tried to get a picture after he got up but you couldn't see it. To bright outside.

Last week we got a good snow storm. So we got out the winter clothes for Ryder. Well for me i don't have any so I had to wear lane's hunting stuff. I forgot one big thing I am fat!! that is a big problem when it comes to getting dressed warm. The pants went up but did not button so I had to be careful. The boots where big. Lane and I have the same size hands so the gloves did fit. I looked pretty much like a black snowman roaming around the yard.
Ryder had fun. He made snow angels, tried to golf in the snow with a white ball. Did not work out to well. Then we tried to shovel the sidewalks to help out dad but we didn't get to far. It's hard when you are nine months prego and trying to keep you pants on.

Ryder had a hard time with his gloves. I told him if he took them off his hands would get cold but what does mom know right!!!

christmas tree is up

Here is the tree. My visiting teacher come over on Tuesday and asked if Ryder wanted to go play with her little boy for awhile. Weird but Ryder wanted to. I was way weird seeing cross the street with her. It guess I had my first time having him go play at the neighbors house. While he was gone I put up the Christmas stuff. I have started my little collection of snowmen. So every year I will add to it. Ryder came home and was so excited to see the tree. It;s funny the things he gets a kick out of. OH mom cool tree!!

Rockin away in my chair.......

When we had Ryder we lived with lane's parent. We didn't have a lot of room so I didn't get to have a rocking chair of my own. You know that comes with having a baby right. So with this child, lane promised he would get me a chair. We have been looking and got one yesterday. Lane had to work during the day so after work we went and picked it up. Who knew we had to put it together. To help ease the pain we had to stop and get ice cream to make daddy a happy helper!! Ryder and dad where fighting over the tools, but got the job done. Now I will be very comfy as I rock my baby's (Ryder still is my baby). Thank you Honey I love you!

Swim lessons

In October and November I Signed Ryder up for swim lessons. Thought he needed something fun to do since I wasn't feeling that great.
I didn't know what I was getting into. Thank goodness we got a good teacher one who would but up with his whining. We had a few melt downs, thought I was never going back but I did. I was glad I stuck it out with him. He now will go under water on his own. That is a big thing for him he hates water in his eyes. We learned he hates life jackets, screamed his head off. Very embarrassing. He will float on his back and roll over on to his tummy. And he loved to splash and chase the girls in his class. I don't know if that is a good sign or what. He passed almost everything off so now he is on level 3.

Halloween Late

Finally I have the desire to blog again. Here are the pictures of Ryder in his lion costume. I wanted to see if he would like trick or treating this year. We took him to a few houses in Grandma Carlton's neighborhood. He got the hang of it and wanted more. There is a house by ours that was really decked out. Ever time we drove by Ryder would say oh scary mom. So on our way home I thought we should stop. It was scary mom even got scared a little. We got way to much candy as usual but had a good time.

Ryder loved showing his claws. What a scary Lion!!

nine months!!!!

Today I am nine months. I am so close but still seems far away. I am getting so excited to have another baby. I just want to hold him. And know what we are going to name him. I have been having some contractions in my upper back at night. Definitely not fun. But I know the worse are yet to come. I hate this stage because my belly hangs out of my shirts but I only have a few weeks left and don't really want to go buy more maternity shirts. I would rather save the money for after I loose the weight a really go shopping for NORMAL clothes. So I am feeling really ugly these days the hair is awful, face fat, skin white or blotchy, belly itchy, can you tell how fun I am to be around these days. I am trying to keep busy with Christmas but I can't get really going I just don't want to do anything.

We went to my moms for thanksgiving this year. We just went out for the day. Lane goes every year on a Four wheeler trip with all the boys down on the Henry mountains the day after thanksgiving. Even though we didn't stay long it was still worth it. The food was good, the company even better. Mom made a fresh apple pie. MMMMmmmmmm. Ryder got grandpa to get the train out for a ride. They fed lightning carrots. And played football. Ryder was very sleepy by the end of the day. I love to go home for the holidays. It will be a while til we get to go again till we get adjusted with the little one.
