Monkey turned 2

Daddy and Ryder with the cake. He was so big and even Blew out the candle this year!!!! And yes I did make the cake. In the carlton family store cakes are no good no one eats them. I learned the hard way!!

Lane took Ryder to get balloons for the party and he had to have Lightning at the party. most expensive balloon but you know how it is Right???????????

I don't know who was more excited Ryder Or lane. I think he has waited for this moment to give his son his first four wheeler. They were both pretty excited!!

Grandpa terry and grandma Mel gave Ryder a tire swing made like a horse. SO cute I have never seen one like this Before. thanks to cal ranch!!! Can't wait to hang it up all we need is some rope and we are good to go!!!

We had a great day. He also got a Wagon from grandpa and grandma Carlton. Some clothes and some other toys. Thank you all for spoiling him. And thank you for coming it meant so much so have the family there!!! We love you all.

seem like yesterday

I know I can't believe how cute he is either. He is the sunshine in our lives. I can't believe he is Two already. Well on the 26th. Happy birthday monkey!!!

I LOVE BEING A MOM!!!!!!

mY LIttle man makes me laugh................ He is SO funny the things he says. And I know I here all the moms say it to but honestly it is amazing to me. He has started repeating thing that we say which now we have to be carefull of. But sometimes when me and lane are playing around and saying mean but joking things to one another he will repeat it. It makes me smile. Like today after church we put him down for his nap and he likes his pillow and blanky and puppy. After we had all those he asks "milk please" it was funny we had to laugh. The he Say's "shut door" that is the Que to get out and let me sleep. Sometime when people come over he Say's it and pushes them out the door. What can I say the kid likes to shut the door. So sorry if he does it to any of you. He makes my day!! I love you Ryder!!!!

home sweet home!!!

We came out to Roosevelt this weekend. Some times you just need to go home. So we loaded up and a long ride with a two year old later we made it!! As soon as we turn off highway 40 to get to the house Ryder start asking where is: Grandma, Grandpa, Goats (Jerry's goats), and of course lightning. It is so amazing to me that he can remember where everything is.
We had dinner and after Grandpa went and saddled up lightning. Ryder was sooo excited. He got right up there no big deal. "Yeee HAw..... Lightning" He kept saying. The problems came after the ride was over let's just say the carlton side of him came out till the next ride!!
Of course we had to take turns with the others but it is a hard thing when you love lightning soooo much right Ryder!! Thank you Grandpa for leading us around the yard. We love you.
Saturday morning we went in to the UBIC parade and of course we got"CANDY!!!!" Way to much of it!! I think it was the longest parade we have had there for a while. We love parades. Later the back porch salon opened and I got everyone looking good. You known my parent still make me earn my keep after all these years!!!

My Little Cowboy!!! We needed some wrangler's he was getting rubbed raw on the legs but it was well worth it.

Ryder was sooo patient to wait for another turn on lightning....... OK not at all he threw a fit!!! He's not my child he's lanes!!!
